We are in a great position to do a Hostinger review because this blog is hosted on Hostinger and so everything mentioned in this review is based upon first hand experience.
Sure, we have used other web hosting services too in the past and some of our other blogs are hosted on other web hosts, but since this is a Hostinger review, I thought I should mention this.
See our Hostinger vs Siteground comparison post for a feature by feature comparison.

Hostinger – Quality of Service
Despite the low cost, Hostinger’s quality is up there with the best.
We know this because before Hostinger, we hosted this blog on Siteground.
Siteground is more expensive than most web hosting providers, but we were unhappy with the site speed and performance.
The GTMetrix Performance Report below shows that the performance was quite unsatisfactory when this blog was hosted on Siteground.

There has been a noticeable and significant improvement in performance metrics since we moved this blog to Hostinger as can be seen below.

Site Speed & Page Load Time
Site speed and page load speeds are important metrics that impact user experience and Google considers this an important factor for ranking in search results.
Hostinger uses Litespeed webserver technology. Other webhosts may use either Nginx or Apache, both of which are resource intensive and hence slow down the server. Server level caching and optimization on Hostinger is enabled through Litespeed cache.

99.9% Uptime Guarantee
Another important factor when choosing a web host is uptime.
Uptime is the amount of time in percentage that the web host’s servers are up and running and Hostinger guarantees an uptime of 99.9% with all its plans.

A lot of web hosts will claim similar uptime, but Hostinger is the only web host that publishes live updates of the status of their servers.
To ensure impartiality, they do it through a third-party server monitoring company, Uptime Robot.
Below is a snapshot of this report.

24x7x365 Customer Support
Hostinger’s Customer Support is one of the best that we have encountered so far.
Complaints are noted and resolved fairly quickly. The longest that it took us to resolve a complaint was 24 hours.
Why Hostinger?
6 excellent reasons why you should choose Hostinger as your web host, other than the fact that it is the most value for money offer that you will find anywhere.

Conclusion
Choosing the right web host is a crucial decision that you will have to make at the beginning of your blogging career and you can’t go wrong with Hostinger.
We know this because this blog is hosted with Hostinger.
We used quite a few different web hosts before we finally settled with Hostinger and the experience with them has been very good.
We hope that we have answered most of the queries that you may have had regarding the best and most cost effective web hosting service available, especially for a beginner.

Hey Sanjeev,
The best web hosting provider right now is Hostinger. The reasons are many but succinctly, it provides an excellent value for money, hosts more than two million websites worldwide, is recommended by WordPress, and offers a free SSL certificate and a free domain with a long money-back guarantee and unlimited bandwidth on all its plans.
Exactly, and that is why we host our blogs on Hostinger. I have added some more statistics too which are quite interesting.
